I'm curious as to where you plan on putting that tattoo. Shoulder looks like a good spot IMHO but I tend to think thats just a good spot for tattoos.
Its legs are too human like.. Here's a better one. The only thing I don't like about this one is the wings - I prefer the ones on the first piece.
The head on the first one is better imho. I also like the way the wings stretch out on the first though they are drawn much better in the second.
I tip for drawing wings. A Wing is essentially an Arm and Hand that evolved differently. The Claw on the top is a thump (though though not an imposable one), the outer bone is the index finger and all the inner ones are the other fingers. The bones between the claw and torso are the upper and forearm so naturally there's a bend for the elbow that just bends inward.
Hm..I'll keep that in mind for the next draft..
