They could be desended from the Monty Python rabbit. Or possably even the Hunter Bunnies!
A rabbit lineage from -1038 UE sharing most of their ancestors's characteristics? Unlikely.
Apparently you've never heard of the Mazuku. A demon can plant his seed into a mortal and have his lineage lay dorment for centurys. Onces a desendent gains enough power, bam, new born demon.
And if the Monty Python bunny isn't as strong as the 3 demon kings from Yu Yu Hakusho, no one is.

I have two cats(one is my parent's cat, not mine, however). And we had the bunnies in a cat carrier in my room, with the doors locked. I wouldn't be stupid enough to let the cats near the bunnies.

Right but cats are skeming little beasts, they could find away.

Well, they didn't. Besides, one of the cats is extremely lazy.
Damn then no ultimate death match, Bunny vs Cat.
I say you raise them on nothing but the blood of virgins and then you'll have a new Bunnicula.
And just wear do you expect to find that many virgins?
We got a postcard from the rehabilitation center. My two bunnies made it and were released into the wild April 25th. The third, Mom's bunny, Peter, didn't make it. He died.
The problem was they were dehydrated and underweight. The mother must've left them too early.
