Yes, I am a mess. Yes, that is a G4 under my desk. Why is a G4 under my desk? I'm not all that sure myself. Suffice to say it started life as a PowerMac G4 450 (AGP Graphics). Somewhere along the line the AGP card went missing and was replaced with its PCI counterpart (not that I'm complaining, hardware DVD decoding was part of the PCI Rage 128's). The original 27 GB hard drive is still in there, in addition to an 8 GB Maxtor that was (strangely enough) added at one point. This specific G4 had 256 megs of ram when it left Apple's factory, yet it came with 128 megs when I bought it (I upgraded it to 640 megs today). It has a DVD-RAM drive, and loading normal CD's is a cross between loading a full tray and a slot loader. I've got it running OS X 10.4.9 and OS 9.2.2.
I have no idea what I'm really going to do with it, but I've finally got a Mac that runs OS X with no hacks.
-edit-
Oh yeah, and I bought it for less than 5% of its original MSRP.
